RED APPLES

Red apples.

It had to be another small painting. This time I got my inspiration from my sister’s garden, from the garden that she has with a friend. It’s always nice to sit in her garden with a cup of coffee and see all the beauty and colour around you. Or walk around and taste freshly picked raspberries and watch how their plantings of flowers and vegetables are doing. On this visit, my eyes were caught by their gnarled apple trees that stand neatly in the middle of the garden. Branches full of red apples that were soon ready to be harvested. They shone brightly with their red colour against the intense greenery, all the green leaves that form a roof if you walk close to the tree trunk.

Sister with green fingers.

My sister Ingrid has inherited our mother Selma’s green fingers. That’s probably why everything grows so lushly whenever she plants. Mom probably sends some extra good vibes over her garden as she too had a wonderful garden to stroll in and taste both berries and freshly picked vegetables. You will find the painting saved in the mixed landscapes category. I hope you were tempted to take a bite of the big red apple.
