Kitchen towel with grandmother’s monogram.<\/strong><\/p>\n Before the cleaned chanterelles were put back in the basket, I put in one of my grandmother’s tea towels with her embroidered initials, E.J, Ester Jonsson. She has sewn the monogram with red thread onto the white towel with green stripes. No idea how old it might be, but it has a quality you can’t possibly find these days. Probably washed a considerable number of times but washed and ironed it looks like new. The yellow chanterelles shine beautifully with their strong yellow color.
